91106

America's 911 Ride, August 18 & 19 2006. The ride took us to all 3 crash sites, beginning in Somerset, County Pa. near the town of Shanksville. The location where Flight 93 went down. As we journeyed we traveled single lane back country roads, Rt.'s 70, 66, 95 and 130. We were welcomed in the towns of Gettysburg, Pa,Shanksville, Pa., Cumberland, Md., Leesburg, Va. and Elizabeth, NJ. and also along with the good folks at Mikes HD, in Wilmington, Del. I knew that this would be like no other ride I had taken part in, we felt humble, proud and as most bikers and American's do, very FREE. The feeling and knowing what you are doing with 1400 of your closest friends is a once in a life time experience, the type that you will remember until you are gone from the face of this earth. Being able to travel the roads that we did with my brother Rick by my side made it even more special. Until next year, RIDE FREE and with the WIND, remain UNITED, and NEVER FORGET THOSE LOST ON 9/11/01 and of all of our children who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the WAR in the Middle East. May you always walk with a PEACEFUL FEELING and may GOD BLESS YOU ALWAYS.
