Thought of the week, comes from the 1974 lp. by the Bee Gees entitled Mr. Natural. On that Lp. a song entitled "Give A Hand" comes to mind this time of year as we are about to celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas, remember to Give a Hand when not asked for but needed, and except one when offered but not asked for. This is for Mr. Don who every Sunday morning offers a word of Hope to Baltimore's homeless along with a bit of food and drink. May we always like he walk with God.

St. Patricks Reflections, New York

I love this shot, the next time that you are eating a meal think of those who are not.

New York, New York, it truly is the BIG APPLE

91106

America's 911 Ride, August 18 & 19 2006. The ride took us to all 3 crash sites, beginning in Somerset, County Pa. near the town of Shanksville. The location where Flight 93 went down. As we journeyed we traveled single lane back country roads, Rt.'s 70, 66, 95 and 130. We were welcomed in the towns of Gettysburg, Pa,Shanksville, Pa., Cumberland, Md., Leesburg, Va. and Elizabeth, NJ. and also along with the good folks at Mikes HD, in Wilmington, Del. I knew that this would be like no other ride I had taken part in, we felt humble, proud and as most bikers and American's do, very FREE. The feeling and knowing what you are doing with 1400 of your closest friends is a once in a life time experience, the type that you will remember until you are gone from the face of this earth. Being able to travel the roads that we did with my brother Rick by my side made it even more special. Until next year, RIDE FREE and with the WIND, remain UNITED, and NEVER FORGET THOSE LOST ON 9/11/01 and of all of our children who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the WAR in the Middle East. May you always walk with a PEACEFUL FEELING and may GOD BLESS YOU ALWAYS.

Sadly this is where it all began, this image was shot over Baltimore. It's like the Spirits of those lost were with us. Click on all of the images to receive the real feeling.

I guess this would be considered a fine art piece of work, It just made sense to me. 9/11/01 May WE Never Forget.

The evening before we began our Journey at he crash site of Flight 93. The sacred land were American's became Heroes.

Bikes of Police Units who rode with us, over 130 Uniform Officers from 40 Police Departments from 13 States and Canada.

Heading towards New York, passing Newark Airport. The images with the planes made me realize this is why we were doing the ride.

Heading over the Delaware Memorial Bridge, after stopping in Mikes HD for Lunch. The weather could not have been any better.

I love these kind of shots, doing 40 miles an hour and shooting in the mirror, click on the pic to see the detail. Pulling into the Md. House I95.

The Long and Winding Road.

Rick as we are leaving the Pentagon, perfect timing here as we were riding, I was able to pick up the camera and catch this shot as the plane was heading towards Reagan.

I already had a humbling feeling after leaving Shanksville, but when we approached Cumberland and Leesburg Va. (here) The whole town were lining the streets of this small part of America. It made us feel Proud and very Patriotic. God Bless these town folk. Thank you.

Taking a break in the Allegheny Mountains heading towards Leesburg VA.

Baltimore's Harbor Tunnel, heading towards New York.

Hurricane Wind

In the darkness of the night
You entered my life like
a Hurricane Wind
Where was once the calm
before the end of days light
Your driving rains came
to wash away
years of my sins

I have begged for
My God in forgiveness
I prayed to his only son
for an enduring LOVE
Down on my knees
Hands together as one

May your lighting strike me
to enlighten my soul
to heal
May your hard rains
cleanse my eyes
to see
May your winds I feel
to only know your name

You left my side as suddenly
as a Hurricane Wind
With no death or
destruction or
displacement
Must or will I
remain the same
Not ever since I
now know your name

Power and Money

POWER and MONEY
don't mean a damn thing to ME
The only thing with it
brings to you is GREED
Not the color in the GREEN
Not the weakness in your POWER
Not the strength in your DESIRE
Not the flames that burn in the FIRE
Not the craving in your SOUL
Not the starving for AFFECTION
Not the need for ATTENTION
Not even you wanting
to be WHOLE

MONEY and POWER
don't mean a damn to ME
It's the only thing
that you ever SEE
You just spent 40,000$
on a brand new KITCHEN
You could have feed those
who
keep on DITCHING
THIS SOCIETY

SOCIAL INJUSTICE
BEGGING FOR FORGIVENESS
SEARCHING FOR THE ANSWER
SEEKING OUT A BLESSING
FROM THOSE THAT
YOU HAVE DECEIVED

DID YOU REALLY BELIEVE

THE LIES THAT YOU TOLD
THE LIVES THAT YOU SOLD
ALL for the LOVE of MONEY
WEAKNESS in POWER
YOUR body is BURNING
from the flames in your SOUL

No one who LOVES YOU
to extinguish the FIRE
NO NEED
NO DESIRE
NO WILL
in THEIR POWER
TIME is DECEPTION
IN YOUR FINAL HOUR

POWER and MONEY
won't mean a damn to ME
please just grant me PEACE
for everlasting ETERNITY
